ALL CANONS MUST BE APPLIED FOR AND PLAYED ONCE PER WEEK!

 

 

Important Note About Canons


This list is by no means complete! Please apply for a minor canon or a marauder era canon that is not listed as well! Also, please note that ALL Canon Characters must be played at least once per week in order to keep them.  If you cannot play them at least once per week, you will lose the canon.  You have been warned.  Also, if you need to take a Leave of Absence we are willing to work with you if you give us notice.  However, due to the nature of the room and in fairness to all of the players, if you need to be gone for more than two weeks, we ask that you step down as the canon holder at least temporarily.  The Canon will be NPCed by staff for one month from that date, however after a one month period, the canon will go up for dibs once again. You have been warned.

NOTE: All canon characters will be started on a one month trial basis.  If after one month, you fail to play your character once per week (without informing us of the need for a temporary LoA) or do not meet up with the standards we are holding the canons to, you will lose the canon.  However, if all goes well, the trial basis will be lifted and you will be fully approved for the character.  This trial basis is in place in the event that you do not work out with us, or if the story line does not work out with you.  No offense is meant by any of this, it is merely to help us make sure we have the best Canons for the room.  Thank you.

Major Canons


Each mun can play upto 2 major canons, as long as they don't have direct contact with each other. You can't play Harry and Draco, for instance. These must be applied for. If the character is also involved in the Marauder Era, you are responsible for the past character as well. If you play Harry/Hermione/Ron/Ginny, you are NOT permitted another canon (major, minor, marauder, or anything else unless that character is dead in the main story line, ie James and Lily and Sirius) because of the time it takes to properly play them.

Marauder Era Canons


You can play upto 2 Marauder Era canons. If approved, any character that is also in the present day, is also under your control as well.  Also note, that Marauders Era Canons must be played at least once every 2 weeks - we understand that the main era will be played more, but if you cannot play your marauders at least once every two weeks you will lose the canon.  You have been warned.

Founder's Era

Due to the limited number of Founder's Era Canons, you may only hold one of these.  We encourage the creation of original characters for the Founder's Era.  Founder's Era Canons must be played at least once every 2 weeks - we understand that the main era will be played more, but if you cannot play your Founder at least once every two weeks you will lose the canon.  You have been warned.

Note: Any avatars used for Canon Characters will not be available for use by anyone else for any other characters. That said only 4 people will be allowed to use the same person as an avatar, but if you see someone else using an avatar you'd like to use, ask them first if they mind you using the same.  It is only polite.  As we get more people in the room an Avatar Reserve list may be added, until then it's first come first serve.  Thank you.
